Nurturing you and your family

Nurturing you and your familyNurturing you and your familyNurturing you and your family

I’m here to listen, engage, and help however I can.

Book a consultation, I would love to help!

If something doesn’t break you, it makes you grow.

My story

With a Master’s in Family and Child Development and years spent supporting students’ emotional health, I, Tanu, have learned that the most powerful tool an individual has is a resilient spirit. I've always been a "happy-go-lucky" person, the kind of individual who can laugh at myself through the good, the bad, and those "how did I get here?" moments. To me, strength isn’t always a loud roar; often, it’s the quiet, steady choice to simply not give up. I embrace challenges with a friendly smile and a confident heart, knowing that resilience makes all the difference.

Every story matters. And sometimes, sharing it is where healing begins.

What I Bring

As a counsellor and a proud mother of two wonderfully spirited kids, I approach my work with warmth and patience, ensuring every child and family feels truly valued. I see myself as a lifelong learner who finds joy in observing and absorbing the wonderful qualities of those around me to become the best version of myself.

This perspective guides the way I work, fostering a safe and understanding environment where growth and connection feel natural. Together, we can navigate challenges and celebrate successes, creating a nurturing space for everyone to flourish.

It’s in those moments of struggle that we can truly rediscover ourselves.

The Kintsugi way

There are times when life feels overwhelming, as if we've broken into pieces. But it's in these exact moments that we find our resilience. Think of the Japanese art of  Kintsugi, the beautiful art of repairing broken pottery with gold, celebrating the cracks rather than hiding them. Your story, with all its hurdles, is uniquely beautiful. I believe everything happens for a reason, and even when life doesn't go as hoped, a positive outlook changes everything. Remember, you are stronger than you think!

A Safe Space for You

Over the years, listening to students and families share their journeys has deeply shaped my work. It taught me that healing often begins with simply having a safe space to talk freely without fear of judgment. I want to provide that comforting, understanding ear for you.

There is incredible resilience within you, and I am here to help you rediscover it. No matter how big the challenge, I am committed to supporting you along the way. You aren't alone in this. Together, we can make a difference!

My Workshops: Building Heart & Resilience

My belief

The Power of "No"

The Power of "No"

In my workshops, I focus on engaging with students rather than just lecturing; I’m here to help them discover their own inner strength. It’s all about creating a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels empowered!

Why We Don't "Make Fun"

Anger isn’t "bad"—it’s just a big feeling. We learn how to express it without letting it control us.

Who should reach out?

Does any of this feel like your story right now?

  • The challenge: Feeling "choked" or breathless, even when doctors say you’re fine.
  • The Fog: Carrying a heavy weight, making it hard to engage with the world.
  • The To-Do List Life: Time with family feels more like a task than a joy.
  • The "Not Enough" Whisper: That persistent worry about your appearance, abilities, or value.
  • The Spark is Gone: When hobbies and fun seem like distant memories.
  • The Parenting Tug-of-War: Making progress while kids resist with screens and homework.
  • The Storm Within: Anger that feels unmanageable and worries that disrupt your sleep.
  • The Student Struggle: Dealing with exam pressure, peer dynamics, bullying, and constant comparisons.

Recognising these struggles is the first step towards regaining balance and peace.

You don’t have to go through this alone
